  3. Hi Rhonda

You asked about binding a quilt without it showing on the front. Although I have never done it, I have seen it done. It is called "facing" a quilt. Here are some instructions: http://www.ctpubblog.com/2010/09/16/quiltmaking-tips-adding-a-facing-to-finish-a-quilt/ Also, Ricky Tims did it once on The Quilt Show. For his, he made a rectangle kind of like a picture frame, with the outside of the rectangle the size of the quilt, and the "frame" part maybe 2 inches wide. Then he sewed it on the front of the quilt, right sides together, and turned the facing to the back of the quilt. I'm not explaining it very well, but if you're a member of The Quilt Show - it was maybe one of the earlier series.

  7. Hi I just wanted to say that I have discovered your podcast and am loving it - I am listening to the past episodes and after listening to this one needed to say hi. I listen to most of the quilting podcasts out there and yours is now added to my list of favourites - those that I want to keep up to date with and listen to new ones straight away - once I have caught up that is. I love the fact that at the moment you seem to be highlighting some of the UK bloggers - as a Brit it is lovely to see this, I have discovered a few new blogs to add to my list. Also I really valued your talk on Narcolepcey, thank you. I have CFS/M.E and although generally more known about it is still so misunderstood, education is the only way forward. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to the podcast - long may it continue. Caroline
