Notice #11 & #16 have been removed. Not all UFOs need to be completed by me in order to be removed. I have decided to donate these two items to World of Charity because (a) I knew they would put them to good use and (b) I wouldn't - IF I ever finished them at all. So
Today, I want to introduce you to #13 & #25. First up is the Ring Toss Quilt. I honestly don't remember when I started this quilt. I do, however, remember who I was making it for. I was making it for my BFF Foo. I have mentioned Foo on this blog on several occasions. She lives in Michigan and I miss her so very much even though we talk all the time. We get to see each other about 4ish times a year but it never seems like enough. But I digress...here is Ring Toss...
The picture to the left of the top is the final border (lighter one) and the backing (gorgeous turquoise).
I absolutely fell in love with this quilt again after I pulled it out. The fabrics are amazing. I purchased this kit from Connecting Threads and I am telling you they have a great hand to them. I wanted to start working on it right then and there...but I am trying to stay focused. I can't wait to work on this one again.
The other project I want to introduce you to is #25 and hopefully the next one to fall from the list. I found this project in my "15 minutes or less" drawer. That means it can be completed in 15 minutes or less. I know, I know!!! I don't wanna hear it! I'm not even gonna offer up any lame excuses.
Here she is...
Well, today I have introduced you to two of my UFOs. I am so glad I did because first off, I fell in love with one of them all over again and second, I realized how lame it is that one of them is even a UFO! NOT FOR LONG!! Stop hounding me, I get it! Bye!

That always feels good to me to move on with something, even if it is to donate it! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the ring toss quilt. If only because of its name.
ReplyDeleteBut not really just that, its so cool! How are the rings constructed?
Wow. I LOVE the colors you're using in the Ring Toss quilt. They're so happy!
ReplyDeleteBwahaha! 15 mins or less ... I have a few of those hanging about Rhonda!

I love the personal guilt - tee hee - 15 minutes! Also, very good idea to donate and you even get rid of UFOs in the process - it's almost cheating it's so great. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that bag is finished by now!
ReplyDeleteROFL, you have a 15 minutes or LESS drawer?! I hope that poor bag is out of its misery now, and the quilt is shortly behind it!

ReplyDeleteOk, Rhonda, the whole drawer has to go, either do the projects or give them away. I love that Ring Toss quilt, I hope you finish it soon, as it is wonderful.
